When visiting Hereford a pleasant walk via the Hereford Cathedral and the River Wye taking in some wonderful views takes about 35 minutes, a little longer if stop and enjoy the features along the way
Looking towards the Cathedal just outside the main entrance turn left along the path, you will pass the stone masons workshop on your right.
On from there pass through the iron gates and walk about 100 meters
into Quay Street which is on your right hand side, the sign is above
head height on the wall leading into the street.
Quay Street is a cul-de-sac, at the end of the street you will see a sign on the right hand for the 'Castle Green'.
At this sign the footpath forks, take the right hand footpath and follow it along,
Take note of St Ethelbert Well on your left at the fork junction.
Cross the Victoria foot Bridge and turn right, this path leads you along side the River Wye with great views all around, you will pass the putting green and Tennis courts.
